STS Additive Manufacturing team at AMUG 2024 in Chicago showcasing ISO 13485 certification and clean room capabilities

STS Additive Manufacturing Heads to AMUG 2025 in Chicago

28 Mar 2025 Bryan Shaw

If you work in additive manufacturing, you probably already know about AMUG. The annual Additive Manufacturing Users Group Conference isn’t just another industry event. It’s a community gathering. A space for innovators, engineers, and solution-seekers to swap ideas, forge connections, and push boundaries.

That’s exactly why we’re going.

From March 31st to April 3rd, STS Additive Manufacturing will be in Chicago, Illinois for AMUG 2024. Our Director of Engineering, Thomas Keegan, and Mechanical Engineer, Tristan Selman, will be on site representing our team, meeting with industry peers, and sharing some big updates.

Like the fact that we’re now ISO 13485 compliant.

Or that our Class 7 Clean Room is officially operational and ready for business.

We’ve been building toward this for a while… expanding our capabilities, investing in the right infrastructure, and laying the foundation for meaningful growth in the medical, aerospace, and high-requirement additive markets. This isn’t about buzzwords or checking boxes. It’s about raising the bar. And making it easier for our clients to bring critical, high-performance parts to life.

But we know this work doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It takes collaboration. Insight. Shared goals. And that’s what AMUG is all about.

While at the show, Thomas and Tristian will be:

  • Promoting our new ISO 13485 capabilities
  • Connecting with engineers and manufacturers who need clean room-certified production
  • Exploring new partnerships to expand our 3D printing capabilities
  • Prospecting for new engineering services opportunities

If you’re attending AMUG and want to learn more about what we’re building at STS Additive Manufacturing, we’d love to connect. You can reach out to Thomas directly on LinkedIn or drop us a note through our website.

This is just the beginning. Let’s build something better together.
